Wed. at the beach, part 4: Seagulls

Once again, lunch time on the beach means lunch for the seagulls, too. Here we are, joyfully offering up our bread crusts and some leftover salmon from last night's dinner, to our fine feathered friends.

Wednesday at the beach, part 3

At low tide this morning, we discovered these wonderful tide pools!

We found gobs of these cute little underwater hermit crabs....

...and if you look really close, you can see Mr. Crabby with the big pinchers above.

(we picked up several of the little hermit crabs in shells, but we kept our distance from Mr. Crabby. He was shaking his pinchers at us, quite menacingly, I might add...)

Between this app, this quirky ipad, video links that never work, etc, etc, I find technology to be a real test of my patience. but hang in there... I'll eventually get these up! (and this is soooooo much faster than putting together a real paper scrapbook like I used to do, so I shouldn't complain!!) :-)

Funny thing about wearing a bikini 24/7...it's great and all, but every now & then I hear this "jiggle, jiggle, What's that???!!" and all of a sudden I'm reeeeeallly wanting to go back to the gym.
