Typical mommy moment, cont'd.

In the shower. Doorbell rings. Colby's playmate has arrived 10 min early. Fastest clothes change EVER. Awkward moment meeting kid's mom..."oh yes i always wear a towel on my head, don't you??"(walk of shame through puddles & suds, bury head on soaked floor ) just another day.... What is it with these crazy boys? Cat chasing, scooter racing, furniture jumping...do they never get tired? And i can't even chase them out w/the vaccum cleaner. (My kid: "mommy what's that noise?) Lol. Forget it. Time to nap with the dust bunnies. .

Overheard during my kids' play date:

Mallory: Who will you marry one day, Colby?

Colby: I dunno.

Mallory: Would you marry your sister? your mom? your cat? some kind of woman?

Colby: I dunno.

Mallory: Who would you marry, me or Samantha?

Colby: neither.

Mallory: (giggles.) My daddy doesn't want me to get married. So I won't.

Back in black...again.

Work till 10:30 pm. Get up @5:30 am, do it again. Think i'll just sleep in my clothes. (Too tired for blogging tonight...) ;-)
