Feels like home
Here we are in our happy place...just Piggy & me. peaceful. Relaxed. Calm. Quiet. We're becoming regulars here in this nightspot...and I like it.

U got my back?
today i am experiencing the worst back pain of my entire life. well, actually it's almost tied with the intense back labor pain i had in my first pregnancy, but it's still bad. i can barely find a comfortable position on my bed, and if i stray but an inch from what my sore lower back can tolerant, the flashes of pain from that pulled muscle make me scream and yell and want to cry. rolling over to try and get out of the bed and stand up is a lengthy, painful process. walking is in true zombie mode, shuffling, swaying slightly back and forth, avoiding the use of my right hip/lower back muscles at all costs. you'd think a fit person like myself would be invincible to these kinds of injuries, or so i proudly like to think.
so these guys pictured here are my best friends today. not that they solve anything, just trying to stay on the bed, use my cell phone to call others in the house to bring me something to eat now and then. survival. praying i will be able to sleep ok tonight and feel a tiny bit better in the morning.
this all happened, by the way, from all the trampoline-jumping at my daughter's birthday party this past weekend. Defy Gravity in Durham is a fun place, but maybe next time i should do some stretches first, or consider how old i am before going all hog-wild crazy at that place.
oh well. this too shall pass.

yeah, i was all smiles and laughter then...and now? OWWWWW!!!! my stinkin back has never hurt like this before!! oh well. good excuse to stay home tomorrow. that's right. i ain't doin nuttin tomorrow, no church, no errands...just lyin on the couch and letting my servants wait on me with heating pads, ibuprofin and lots of dark chocolate. ha ha, yeah right. any-hoo, it was worth it. Sam had a great 12th birthday!! Happy 12th, sweet baby doll!!!
oh, p.s. apparently youtube didn't like the name "ariana grande" in my latest video post. so i disabled the safety feature. it's view-able now. don't worry, it's all clean and good. ;-D
