Top 10 reasons why being sick is fun
Ok, i lied, just 3 so far...
1. Lots of time to study the intricate designs on my very old quilt, handmade and given to me years ago by my now-deceased grandmother. This quilt is full of memories, for it is literally a patchwork of fabric scraps from my mom's sewing projects over the years; mainly, our clothes! Yes, our mother used to sew a lot of our clothes as kids, and so when I look at this, I think, oh yeah, there's part of the blouse I wore for that 9th grade school picture...there's those ugly plaid pants my mom used to wear...there's that old skirt I made in 8th grade sewing class...there's my sister's vest, and so on. Memories.
Reason #2, of course, Netflix, and the never-ending episodes of HIMYM.
And finally... (for now)..
plenty of quality time to catch up with my best buds: Piggy and Teddy.

Avalanche
This is what happens when you're sick in bed and you try to sit up by leaning against the window shade cuz you got no headboard behind your cheapo twin mattress:

Highlight of my day..
Sick day
Hate being sick, especially so close to Christmas when there's so much to do, and I could use the money I'd be earning at work tonight...if I weren't sick.
Oh well.
